Jim Heymans has been a Licsensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 1998 specializing in therapy for children (age 10 and older), adolsecent, teen and adult individuals, as well as couples, and maintains a private practice at River City Clinic in St. Paul Minnesota.
Since graduating with his Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine Graduate School of Social Work Jim has been providing psychotherapy to individual children, adolescents, teens and adults who are experiencing emotional and/or behvioral stress in their life.
Among his areas of expertise is grief and loss, and death and dying. Jim works as a manger in a hospice program that provides counseling around the loss of a loved one.
